Both paid plans are the same product. The only thing that changes is how often Stripe sends the receipt.
Fair questions
- What happens after 7 days?
- The first computer you set up drops to the free plan and keeps working in full: every rule, every class, changed at that computer with the PIN. Any other computer keeps the rules it has but freezes. The sync, the phone and the rest of the house wait for the family plan.
- What does free actually leave out?
- Three things, all of them about reach. A second computer. Rules that follow you between computers. And your phone: starting a class from the bus, unlocking a site from the shops, locking the dashboard from the sofa.
- Monthly or yearly, what's the difference?
- Only the bill. Both plans are the whole product on every computer. Yearly is $39.99 once, which works out at $3.33 a month. You can switch between them on Stripe's billing page.
- Can I cancel from my phone?
- Yes. Account & billing, Manage billing, cancel. Stripe's page, no call, no retention flow designed to wear you down. You keep what you paid for until the period ends.
- Does the trial restart if I reinstall?
- No. The trial is tied to your Google account, not to the extension, so it starts once.
- Why is one computer free?
- Because it costs us nothing to run, and a rule that stops working when a parent can't pay makes the child less safe, not us richer. What costs us money is the sync and the phone, so that is what we charge for.
- Who sees my card?
- Stripe. Checkout and the billing page are Stripe's own pages; we store only whether the plan is active and when it renews.
